NOTE D\u2019INTENTION<\/h3>

\"\"\u00a0Avant m\u00eame de d\u00e9couvrir la po\u00e9sie de Else Lasker-Sch\u00fcler je souhaitais cr\u00e9er avec cette \u0153uvre une musique int\u00e9rieure et profond\u00e9ment expressive. Les \u00ab outils \u00bb des compositeurs d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui inclinent plus spontan\u00e9ment \u00e0 travailler sur la plastique du son ou sur les processus d\u2019organisation formelle qu\u2019\u00e0 traquer l\u2019\u00e9motion.<\/p>

Mais ces m\u00eames outils (par exemple les \u00e9chelles en micro-intervalles) ont aussi la capacit\u00e9 de renouveler l\u2019\u00e9criture m\u00e9lodique, de cr\u00e9er une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de couleurs et de tensions harmoniques, \u00e9l\u00e9ments essentiels \u00e0 la construction d\u2019un discours musical qui \u00e9vite les \u00e9cueils du formalisme.<\/p>

La po\u00e9sie de Lasker-Sch\u00fcler, parce qu\u2019elle allie \u00e0 un maniement particuli\u00e8rement inventif de la langue allemande une hypersensibilit\u00e9 toute de force et de pudeur, m\u2019a tout de suite boulevers\u00e9. J\u2019ai pens\u00e9 que le dialogue entrepris avec ces textes m\u2019aiderait \u00e0 accomplir le projet de cette nouvelle \u0153uvre.<\/p>

Ihm eine Hymne est aussi n\u00e9e de la relation privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e que j\u2019entretiens avec ses interpr\u00e8tes, chanteurs et instrumentistes, dont les sonorit\u00e9s sont grav\u00e9es dans mon oreille depuis d\u00e9j\u00e0 de nombreuses ann\u00e9es.<\/p>
